BarkTown Dog Rescue & Sanctuary is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), all volunteer organization. We work tirelessly to save dogs from shelters in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area. BarkTown Dog Rescue & Sanctuary is funded by donations from generous individuals and organizations that want to help make it a better world for all dogs.
Barloc's Story
Many of you remember BARLOC - the male dog who came to us with what we thought was severe lumbar spine injuries from being hit by a car. He was in a lot of pain, and he also had a skin infection.
After thorough examination and imaging by an orthopedic vet, it was determined that Barloc did not require the surgery we had anticipated, but rather rest and time for his fractures to heal on their own. So, Barloc has been in the loving care of one of our wonderful fosters, Melissa. Thanks to her, and our vet partners at Forsyth Animal Hospital, Barloc is feeling MUCH BETTER now!!!
